What a sucky way to end the series. I think Stephenie Meyer got really lazy with this one or she was just out of good ideas. Read a better review/synopsis here.

I needed a nice easy book to read at the airport and on my way home from SD so I picked up “Twilight”… I too was skeptical of this book that has 14 years old everywhere in a frenzy but it is TOTALLY AMAZING. I read almost the whole first book (Twilight) on the flight from Minneapolis (about 2 hours) and immediately bought the second one (New Moon) which I tore through in about 24 hours. Just started the third one last night (Eclipse). They are like crack in book form… so addictive!
I would however skip the movie if you haven’t read the books yet. It leaves a lot of information and character development out and it’s very cheesy at times. I think I would have had no idea what was happening had I not just finished the book.
Bottom line : READ THESE BOOKS!

Just got back from a long weekend in South Dakota visiting my friend Carrie. I had a great time…it was really beautiful and very different from what I am used. Everything is so far away… going anywhere requires at least a 15 minute drive. I did get to see the Black Hills (beautiful), Mt.Rushmore (definitely lived up to my expectations)and Deadwood (I want my $20 back). A few of the things i wanted to see, like Bear Country and Reptile Gardens were closed because of the weather (wtf) but I guess I’ll just have to go back another time… See my pictures here.
